World Record Smash Is Pizza Cake For Costa Cruises

Costa Cruises has made history by smashing a world record for the longest pizza line in Australia at the weekend.
The rather unusual world record attempt - which saw over 800 freshly made pizzas lined up in Sydney’s Italian quarter - was undertaken as part of celebrations for the cruise line’s 60th anniversary Down Under.
In addition to creating a new world record, Costa Cruises ensured that the pizzas did not go to waste, food rescue organisation OzHarvest collected the tasty treats and delivered them to local charities where they were fed to the homeless and disadvantaged of Sydney.
"I can think of no better way to celebrate Costa Cruises’ 60th birthday in Australia, than to work with the local community and charities on this event," sales and marketing director for Costa Cruises Dario Rustico commented.
While the culinary celebrations got underway in Australia, closer to home Costa Cruises in Europe has announced that a gluten-free menu will now be available onboard its cruise ships, TravelMole reports.
