White Christmas In The Caribbean
Thursday, October 18th, 2007
While many travellers decide to go on a cruise holiday for the hot weather, those enjoying a holiday with Princess Cruises this December can anticipate the fall of seasonal snowflakes.
As part of its seasonal programme, held onboard many Princess Cruises vessels, Christmas activities will be taking place, sure to delight children travelling with their parents on a family cruise.
A "daily snow flurry" is to be incorporated on the Princess Cruises flotilla during December, while other festive treats will include a gingerbread challenge house-building competition and carolling events.
"The joyful spirit of the holiday season is always evident on our year-end cruises. And this year we wanted to add some additional festive touches, including a little winter fun with snow on board," commented Jan Swartz, Princess’ senior vice president of customer service.
Traditional roast dinners will also be available on such ships as Caribbean Princess, Pacific Princess and Regal Princess.
There are many activities onboard for children during this time such as appearances by Santa Claus and cookie decorating.
