Rather than churn out cruise news in a rather bland way we've decided to discontinue the news in this format and use our cruise blog to cover any newsworthy events.

Brits will soon be able to travel back in time to the golden era of cruising and enjoy the elegance of yesteryear.
Set to launch in October next year, the Queen Elizabeth, operated by the Cunard Line, will feature a ballroom, palm-filled garden and royal theatre.
Images released by the cruise line earlier this week show a ship that screams glamour and sophistication.
According to Cunard president Carol Marlow, there has been a great deal of interest in the new ship.
‘We’ve done a lot of research and it’s told us that people are still going to be taking their holidays," she commented.
"We are quite confident that this ship will be a success. There is a rise in the number of people looking for something more traditional and authentic and we have a unique product."
The ship will also boast its own game deck, complete with croquet lawn.
Other vessels in the cruise line’s fleet include the Queen Mary 2.
