Single Sailings With Island Cruises

Lone travellers may wish to travel aboard one of the Island Cruises fleet this year, after the cruise line announced it is offering price perks on its Mediterranean cruises in 2008.
Island Cruises notes that the perks will include offering single passengers larger cabins for Mediterranean cruises in April, May, June, October and November this year.
The cruises will call in at ports in Palma, Messina, Naples, Livorno and Pisa, in addition to Toulon and Barcelona.
"[Cruise passengers] wishing to meet up with fellow guests also travelling alone be sure to come to our ‘Solos lunch’ held at the beginning of each cruise," Island Cruises noted.
Activities onboard for cruisers can include enjoying cocktails by the pool and taking part in the activities on offer.
On cruise ship Island Star, holidaymakers can enjoy a massage in the salon and spa or an evening out at the onboard theatre or casino.
There are also a selection of restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from.
