Princess Cruises is doubling its world cruise itineraries.
In 2009, two global voyages will be available from the company, visiting over 40 destinations on over six continents.
Sister ships Tahitian Princess and Royal Princess will be the prestigious vessels taking lucky passengers on the luxury cruise of a lifetime, both departing from Fort Lauderdale in January.
Cruisers on both ships will get the chance to visit South America, Australia, Egypt, India and the South Pacific, as well as select locations in Europe.
"World cruises are the ultimate travel experience and now we’re offering two exciting opportunities in 2009 for a select group of passengers who are passionate about exploration," said Jan Swartz, Princess’ senior vice president of customer service and sales.
"And the intimate size of these ships is very appealing for a journey of this nature," she added.
In related news, the line recently announced it would feature an unprecedented three cruises in South America in the 2008-09 season.
Virgin Holidays Cruises are leader's in Caribbean cruises, Mediterranean cruises and cruise & stay holidays.
