Passengers travelling with Princess Cruises need not worry about filling up on too many poolside snacks during their cruise holiday, as they will have ample opportunity to burn the calories off.
The cruise line has had members of its shipboard staff trained by Nintendo team members in the delights of Wii Fit.
All of the cruise line’s ships are to now feature Wii Fit balance games, so that passengers of all ages can hone their athletic capabilities on such games as Hula Hoop and the ski jump while budding football fans can practice their heading skills.
"We’re very excited to partner with Nintendo to bring the Wii Fit experience to our passengers. Our onboard team has just finished training with the experts at Nintendo to ensure that we’re able to offer passengers the best possible experience with this innovative fitness game," commented ," said Jan Swartz, senior vice-president at Princess Cruises.
Passengers on family cruises will even be able to test their techniques against those of their friends in family competitions on the poolside screens.
Princess Cruises recently added an extra 110 excursion options to its European cruises for summer 2008.
