Princess Cruises Unveils New South American Options

A new set of exotic destinations have been announced by Princess Cruises.
The cruise line is to sail to several places in South America as part of the 2008-09 season, it has been announced.
Visitors taking a voyage on one of Princess Cruises several ships will be able to take advantage of trips to Cape Horn, the Galapagos Islands and Santiago.
So far, there are six different itineraries to choose from and 21 departures lined up for 12- and 14-day cruises.
Jan Swartz, senior vice president of Princess Cruises, said that the new journeys offer a "truly once in a lifetime experience".
"South America is one of those destinations that experienced travellers have on their wish list of travel experiences and we’re excited to be growing our presence there," he added.
Meanwhile, Princess Cruises new vessel the Royal Princess was christened this weekend by the company’s most-travelled passenger Lorraine Artz.
Mrs Artz has been a loyal customer of Princess Cruises and has spent 4,100 days at sea on holiday, enjoying ten months of the year on a ship.
