Princess Cruises To Offer New Alaskan Tours
Monday, January 29th, 2007Cruise line Princess Cruises is adding a number of new tours to its Explore Alaska 2007 Season choices.
Furthermore, Princess is also to offer new private excursion options to its Alaskan cruises.
According to the cruise line, the latest private touring options are aimed at passengers wishing to travel around the American state "on their own terms".
Options available include travel by Hummer, floatplane, stretch sport utility vehicle, open-air boat, classic car and catamaran.
"Our guests have become more diverse than ever and these private adventures offer outstanding new options for the independent-minded traveller," commented Charlie Ball, president of Princess Tours.
New private excursion options will include a dog sled summer camp, a rainforest canopy and zipline expedition - both in Juneau - and a klondike summit, suspension bridge and salmon bake in Skagway.
In related news, Princess Cruises, Cunard Line and P&O World Voyages are teaming up this year to offer passengers what eTravel Blackboard describes as a "one of a kind" cruising experience.
The three companies will be represented by Carnival Australia in a worldwide cruising brochure.
