Princess Cruises Seeks Ambassador Of Love

Princess Cruises seeks ambassador of love
Princess Cruises has announced a new Valentine’s Day-inspired competition to seek out an ambassador of love for its so-called department of romance.

The winner of the competition - which is open until March 20th 2008 - will receive a "romantic" seven-day cruise holiday for two to Mexico or the Caribbean.

Launching on Valentine’s Day, Princess Cruises is asking all would-be Cupids to submit a video detailing why they believe they should become ambassador for the department of love for one full year.

"From a personal love story to an original poem or creative stunt, we’re seeking compelling video entries expressing romance from many perspectives," Jan Swartz, senior vice-president for Princess Cruises commented.

She added that the ideal candidate is someone who can "channel" their "inner romantic" and "espouse" the meaning of amour among others.

The cruise line’s department of love panel currently features romance and dating expert Trish McDermott, intimacy expert Dr Ruth Westheimer and love and romance expert Gavin MacLeod.
