Literary types will be in for the cruise holiday of a lifetime if they choose to sail with Celebrity Cruises this season.
Taking place onboard Celebrity Solstice will be a novel form of prose-based theatre productions in conjunction with Poet Theatricals.
A total of three unique shows will be held onboard Celebrity Solstice: Solstice, Ghost Light and Pulse.
"Travellers today have experienced such a variety of entertainment, so we need to ensure we continually offer new and unexpected options, along with some of the most popular programming," Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, vice-president of hotel operations and entertainment at Celebrity Cruises, commented.
Solstice is a European-style circus that focuses on the clash between day and night, featuring vocalists, physical comedy, group acrobatics and aerial performances.
Ghost Light sees the cast of an old closing-down Broadway theatre gather after venue’s final show to reminisce about the past productions held at the venue causing the theatre to light up once more.
Finally, Pulse exhibits a combination of motion and vocals accompanied by a mixture of music and instruments alongside specialty acts including ring jugglers, fairy characters and acrobatic artists.
