Passengers hoping to take a world cruise with P&O will have the opportunity to make their bookings from today (September 15th).
P&O’s world voyages will depart in 2010, with the Arcadia completing her first circumnavigation of the world, while the Aurora will embark on a "connoisseur voyage" aimed at experienced cruisers looking for something new.
P&O Cruises managing director Nigel Esdale commented: "These two world voyages complete our most varied winter programme yet, with two-week Caribbean fly-cruises and month long Southampton round trip sailings already on offer for winter 2009-2010. Winter cruising and longer voyages are particularly popular with experienced cruisers."
Mr Esdale noted that the company’s expanding fleet enabled P&O to offer passengers more choice.
According to Cruise Talk Central, the Arcadia departs on January 10th 2010 and will take in destinations including San Francisco, Sydney, Singapore, Hong Kong and Aukland, while the Aurora leaves on January 5th and calls at Dubai, Cape Town and Phuket, among other places.
In related news, a recent study by P&O Crises revealed that the price of holidays at seas has dropped significantly over the last ten years.
