Rather than churn out cruise news in a rather bland way we've decided to discontinue the news in this format and use our cruise blog to cover any newsworthy events.

In a move that is claimed to "bring the outdoors in", an open-air neighbourhood plan has been unveiled for ships in the Royal Caribbean International fleet.
The cruise line intends to create an area known as Central Park at the centre of its cruise ship Project Genesis.
Central Park will be a lush tropical garden area with flowers and canopy trees that opens to the sky and features "serene" pathways and a different atmosphere for day and night.
To be the first of seven such neighbourhoods on Project Genesis, all are designed to offer experiences in different locales targeted at cruisers’ personal styles and moods.
Central Park will include a town square-style piazza - a tranquil location during the day and a bustling gathering space for dining by night.
"We are thrilled to debut Central Park, the first of many exciting neighbourhoods on the Project Genesis ship and a thrilling expression of the innovation and imagination for which Royal Caribbean is known," Richard Fain, chairman of Royal Caribbean Cruises, commented.
He added that the Project Genesis is a "quantum leap" in architecture and design.
