Oasis Of The Seas Youth Zone Is Unveiled
Thursday, October 23rd, 2008
The final neighbourhood on the Oasis of the Seas has been unveiled.
Royal Caribbean International announced earlier this week that the ship will feature a Youth Zone, which has been described by the cruise line as an "ultimate wonderland for young adventurers".
The Oasis of the Seas is due to launch late next year and is the largest passenger vessel in the world, capable of carrying 5,400 guests.
Adam Goldstein, president and chief executive of Royal Caribbean International, commented: " Oasis of the Seas will offer more of everything for every member of the family, including more for our younger guests.
"The Youth Zone aboard Oasis of the Seas will continue to build on our award-winning Adventure Ocean youth and teen programs, and expand to include dedicated space and programming for our guests as young as six months."
The Youth Zone will feature a children’s theatre, science laboratory, mini golf course, basket ball court ad surf simulator – among other things.
A nursery facility will also be available, enabling parents to drop children off at any time throughout the day and evening.
The Oasis of the Seas has been divided into several "neighbourhoods", enabling passengers to maximise their time onboard.
Other previously announced neighbourhoods include the Promenade, Entertainment Place and Pool and Sports Zone.
