Oasis of the Seas - the latest offering from Royal Caribbean International - is set to house an exclusive Pool and Sports Zone neighbourhood.

Set to launch next year, the Oasis of the Seas has been divided into several "neighbourhoods" as part of an initiative aimed at encouraging guests to experience a wide range of activities.

Speaking earlier this week, the cruise provider claimed that the Pool and Sports Zone would house traditional amenities alongside new and revolutionary features.

Those travelling onboard the Oasis of the Seas will have the opportunity to spend time in an adults-only solarium, enjoy a giant octopus slide - complete with spraying tentacles - and take a dip in one of the ship’s state-of-the-art whirlpools.

Furthermore, those who enjoy staying active will have the opportunity to participate in water team sports including basketball, badminton and water polo.

Aside from the Pool and Sports Zones, some of the other neighbourhoods onboard the vessel include the Vitality at Seas Spa and Fitness Zone and the Royal Promenade.
