Oasis Of The Seas Cabins Now On Sale
Wednesday, September 3rd, 2008
British holidaymakers eager to climb on onboard the "revolutionary" Oasis of the Seas can now make their bookings.
Those booking with Virgin Holidays will find cruise packages available from just £1,299, with a choice of a "free extra", such as a cabin upgrade or free stay in Miami.
Set to launch next year, the Oasis of the Seas – operated by Royal Caribbean International – is the world’s largest passenger ship and those travelling onboard are guaranteed a once-in-a-lifetime holiday experience.
According to Travel Weekly, tour operators are expecting an "unprecedented" number of Brits to travel onboard the liner and demand for cruises is said to be remarkably high.
Jo Rzymowska, Royal Caribbean International’s associate vice president and general manager, told the publication: "We have not had such a high number of pre-registrations as we had had on Oasis of the Seas. I think I would be surprised if by the end of the first week the maiden voyages aren’t sold out."
Meanwhile, in order to ensure that guests have the widest choice of activities possible, the ship has been divided into several "neighbourhood" zones.
Areas onboard include a spa and fitness zone and a pool and sports area.
