Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has announced its new programme of fly cruises available from locations in the UK and abroad.
The cruise line notes that a number of fly cruises are available from Bristol to destinations such as the Caribbean via Miami aboard new ship Balmoral, via Barbados aboard Boudicca and to the Mediterranean from Rome onboard Balmoral and Braemar.
Meanwhile, Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ ship Braemar sails on its Magical Adriatic 14-night fly cruise from Bristol this August and will take in the ports of Livorno, Villefranche, Barcelona, Palma, Tunis and Montenegro.
"This is great news for our customers in the south west as it means they don’t have to travel all the way to Gatwick, Manchester or Heathrow … it takes a lot of hassle out of the travelling and means you get to join your cruise sooner," commented Lucy Thurston, sales executive for the south west of England at Fred Olsen Cruise Lines.
Balmoral is Fred Olsen Cruise Lines’ fifth cruise ship and is the largest of the fleet.
The ship has been designed, in particular, to appeal to the British cruise market.
