Holidaymakers travelling with Norwegian Cruise Line can look forward to taking pampering one step further after the cruise line announced upgrades to its medi-spa programme.
NCL Freestyle Cruising is to become the first cruise line to offer beauty treatments such as Botox, Restylane and Perlane onboard its liners in the Mandara operated spas.
In conjunction with spa services provider Steiner Transocean, treatments will be available onboard Norwegian Gem, Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Spirit.
"We are excited to be able to offer Botox treatments for those passengers sailing on Norwegian Gem on her popular Western Mediterranean itineraries out of Barcelona," Stephen Park, general manager of NCL commented.
He added that the cruise line was constantly looking at ways to improve its spas.
NCL intends to launch the new treatments across the entire fleet this autumn.
Botox is an cosmetic treatment that is used to soften frown lines.
