MSC Cruises Announces Gastronomy Voyage

Connoisseurs of fine food as well as fine cruise holidays will find much to savour when on the MSC Lirica as it takes passengers on a gourmet travel extravaganza from Copenhagen to Genoa.
Guests will depart from the Danish capital on September 2nd 2007, before heading to Spain via Britain, then on to Lisbon and Gibraltar before reaching the Italian seaport of Genoa on September 12th 2007.
"Every evening there will be a big party with a selection of special menus served at the various onboard restaurants," MSC Cruises reports.
"This will include light meals, vegetarian dishes, deserts sweetened with artificial sweeteners suitable for diabetic guests, as well as kosher food on request."
It adds that the culinary theme extends to a number of games and races, while luxury cruise passengers can also benefit from a number of wine tasting opportunities.
Last month, MSC Cruises announced that it MSC Rhapsody vessel would be giving passengers the chance to enjoy a range of hobbies, from casino games and photography to bridge and t-shirt design.
