Rather than churn out cruise news in a rather bland way we've decided to discontinue the news in this format and use our cruise blog to cover any newsworthy events.

After hanging up his dancing shoes, political journalist John Sergeant is now preparing to head off on a luxury Caribbean holiday with P&O Cruises.
John, who had been taking part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, quit the show this week amid concerns that he may win and force more talented dancers off the show.
However, he was insistent that his decision had nothing to do with the fact that he is due to leave for the Caribbean in less than two weeks.
A statement from P&O Cruises echoed Mr Sergeant’s comments, with the cruise line claiming that had John remained in the competition, they would have been more than happy to book him on to another voyage.
John is expected to entertain guests with after-dinner speeches while onboard the Oceana liner.
The 64-year-old had been one of the favourites to win the show and provoked a public outcry this week over his shock decision to quit.
