Jennie Bond To Sail On QE2 This October

Former royal correspondent Jennie Bond will be sailing onboard the illustrious cruise liner Queen Elizabeth 2 later this year.
The BBC broadcaster will be appearing as part of the Cunard Cruises Insights programme, which offers passengers forms of onboard enrichment during their holidays.
Journalist Bond is one of several well known personalities to have been announced by the cruise line.
"A transatlantic crossing is a pinnacle travel experience for the scholarly Cunard guest who is captivated by the golden age of ocean travel," president of Cunard Cruises Carol Marlow noted.
She added that the speakers were "among the most highly regarded authorities in their respective fields".
Other speakers sailing onboard QE2 - which is due to retire later on this year - include maritime historian Bill Miller, lead architect for Queen Mary 2 Stephen Payne and travel writer Ted Scull.
Passengers travelling onboard Queen Mary 2 this summer and autumn will be treated to lectures from Joanne Harris - author of Chocolat, Margaret Atwood - writer of the Handmaid’s Tale and Linda Hope who is the daughter of late entertainer Bob Hope.
