Island Cruises Releases Mediterranean Itinerary
Thursday, May 1st, 2008
An itinerary of Mediterranean cruises has been released by Island Cruises, a cruise company that promotes itself as being relaxed, friendly and informal.
The news comes after TravelMole reported that research from the European Cruise Council showed that more than 60 per cent of European cruisers opted for Mediterranean cruises in 2007.
Island Cruises has revealed that the 2009 Mediterranean Splendour itinerary will span the summer season.
"For old and new guests alike, Mediterranean Splendour will offer more choice to the Island Cruises’ portfolio as it includes two brand new ports of call Elba in Italy and Calvi in Corsica," Island Cruises reveals.
Cruise passengers will board their cruise ship in Palma, Majorca, before sailing to Naples, Elba, Calvi and Mahon. The fly-cruise is available from 19 regional airports in the UK.
On a 14-night cruise, passengers can explore Elba, the rugged fortress island to which Napoleon was exiled.
