Monday, October 20th, 2008
Luxury cruise provider Holland America Line has launched a number of new north Europe itineraries.
From next year, British passengers will have the opportunity to travel aboard the cruise line’s newest vessel, the ms Eurodam.
Holland America Line plans to offer one two-day itinerary and two four-day sailings between Copenhagen, Denmark and Dover, from July 2009.
The voyages are ideal for those with "less time on their hands", the cruise line said.
Richard D Meadows, executive vice president of marketing, sales and guest programmes, explained: "We understand that some travellers are looking for a quick and relaxing holiday, which is why we developed these shorter, exciting itineraries."
Whether passengers embark on a two-day sailing or a two-week voyage, they are guaranteed to have an "unforgettable" cruise experience, he added.
Holland America Line currently operates 14 ships, including the ms Amsterdam, ms Ryndam and ms Rotterdam.
