Holland American Cruises has announced that its newest vessel, the ms Eurodam, will join its ms Maasdam liner for its Canada and New England cruise holidays in 2008.
Making its North American debut, the ms Maasdam and 2,104-passenger ms Eurodam will offer holidaymakers a choice of 21 cruises between May and October 2008, with the length of the voyages ranging from one to two weeks.
Trips on the ms Eurodam include a 10-day cruise from New York to Quebec City, while it will also offer a longer two-week cruise from Quebec City to Fort Lauderdale via the new Corner Brook port at Newfoundland.
Richard D Meadows, executive vice president of marketing, sales and guest programs at Holland America Cruises, said: "The Eurodam is an exciting addition to Holland America Line’s Canada and New England cruises along with the new gateway of Quebec."
He added that the ship will offer cruise holiday passengers an innovatively-styled panoramic stateroom in addition to a pan-Asian restaurant and other novel dining venues.
Experiences available to passengers on a Holland America Cruises voyage to North America include a hike in Acadia National Park, seafood meals, Princess Edward Island and an exploration of the cities of Quebec and Montreal.
