Carnival Cruises has announced the naming of its new 21,000 square foot luxury cruise spa facility on board its Carnival Splendour vessel.
The health and fitness complex is to be dubbed the Cloud 9 Spa and it is sure to give passengers a heavenly sense of relaxation when the ship launches the firm’s first ever northern European cruise holidays on its debut in July 2008.
If you book an exclusive stateroom or suite in the spa, you can make use of a private elevator and unlimited access to all available amenities.
Christine Arnholt, vice president of marketing services at Carnival Cruises, said: " Carnival Splendor’s spa promises to be the most elaborate and luxurious at sea and the name Cloud 9 Spa truly embodies the feeling of pampering, relaxation and rejuvenation that guests will experience within this spacious and modern facility."
The spa includes 17 private treatment rooms, with two specialist VIP facilities dedicated to couples on an adult cruise break, with a range of Asian, European and Middle Eastern-style therapies available before relaxing in the post-treatment area.
Last month, Carnival Cruises announced that the interior design of the new vessel would reflect its name in a celebration of elegance.
