Golden Princess Offers Hawaiian Treats
Tuesday, October 7th, 2008
People looking for a taste of the exotic might consider Golden Princess’ new season of cruises to the Hawaiian Islands.
The trips promise to engulf passengers in the island’s culture through education, entertainment and cuisine.
Guest artists, shell artists and bone carving experts are among those from the island who will step onboard Princess Cruises’ liner to share their talents and products with tourists.
Presentations from guest lecturers and naturalists will suit those looking to be educated on the island’s species, history and culture.
Traditional Hawaiian food will be served up and a special festive night celebration will offer a full buffet feat including local dishes such as pupus and tropical-themed deserts.
Jan Swartz, senior vice present at Golden Princess, said: "Our goal is to captivate our passengers with onboard experiences that capture the heart and soul of Hawaii."
The US state of Hawaii encompasses a number of small islands stretching across the volcanic Hawaiian Island chain.
