NCL Cruises has announced a new programme of cruises for holidaymakers who do not wish to fly out of the UK or stick to a dress code.
Departing from Southampton holidaymakers travelling with NCL Cruises will not be required to adhere to a dress code, or eat at set meal times in a formal restaurant.
Passengers can for the first time ever board Norwegian Jade from the UK port for cruises to the Mediterranean, Norway and even around Britain.
"Demand for this unique and flexible style of cruising from the UK has also seen NCL place a newer and larger ship in Dover - Norwegian Jewel. From here she will be operating itineraries to the exotic Baltic," NCL Cruises commented.
Norwegian Jade will be based in Southampton from May 2008 and will sail on its Mediterranean Escape from this port.
This summer the cruise line will also operate a series of property mini-cruises.
