Poker aces wanting to try out their game on the high seas are in luck as Island Cruises has announced its first ever poker cruise.
A No Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament will take place onboard Island Star this March 28th with a total prize fund of £20,000 up for grabs.
Non-poker players are also catered to on the seven-day Mediterranean cruise, as non-playing guests can enjoy champagne on arrival, cocktail parties and en-suite accommodation.
According to Island Cruises, the most popular cocktail onboard the Island Star is the Bahama Mama which contains rum, banana liqueur, apricot brandy and fruit punch.
"Not only do you get the chance to win some cash, you also experience some great ports in the Mediterranean," Island Cruises claims.
Ports to be called at include Livorno for Florence and Pisa, Marseille, Barcelona, Genoa for Milan, Valencia and Palma.
