Carnival Cruises has announced that it is to embark on a unique one-off European cruise next year.
The eight-day cruise will depart from Genoa on July 2nd 2008 and sail for the UK when it will dock at Dover on July 10th taking in major European destinations on the way.
Perfect for groups who are tight on time such as those wanting to take a family cruise during the summer, Carnival Splendor will visit ports in Cannes, Barcelona, Lisbon and Le Havre in Paris.
" Carnival Splendor’s special eight-day voyage is just the latest addition to a highly diverse European inaugural season. It’s the best way to see the great cities of Europe at a great value," commented Vicki Freed, senior vice president of sales and guest services at Carnival Cruises.
Following the one-off cruise, the 113,300-ton ship will embark upon a Mediterranean cruise from London to Rome in September.
Carnival Splendor features the elaborate cloud 9 spa which boasts a thalassotherapy pool and thermal suite.
