The first ever Australian-based ship to circumnavigate the world is set to be P&O Cruises’ vessel Dawn Princess.
Lasting for 104 nights, the cruise will take in visits to Anzac Cove on the Gallipoli Peninsula and will make berth in over 35 ports along the journey.
Upping anchors in Sydney, Australia in July 2008, the Dawn Princess will sail to Auckland, Samoa, Tahiti and Hawaii in the Pacific.
Later the cruise liner will cross the Pacific Ocean and sail to ports in Mexico, the Caribbean and the east and west coast of the US.
Other locations to be visited on the cruise include Ireland, Spain, Italy, Greece, the Middle East, India, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
Meanwhile, it was recently announced that new P&O Cruises ship Ventura will be home to a circus when she makes her debut later this year.
