Cunard Cruises Voted Number One

Cunard Cruises has been voted the number one cruise line according to the 2008 Berlitz Guide to Ocean Cruising and Cruise Ships, it has been announced.

Those booking cruise holidays onboard such liners as the Queen Victoria and the Queen Mary 2 can now do so in the knowledge that they will be travelling with a top cruise line.

In addition to the accolade of top cruise line, Cunard Cruises was also praised for its cuisine and service which were both voted "best overall".

"It is especially gratifying to receive this recognition for our flagship Queen Mary 2 and beloved QE2 as we prepare to launch our newest ship, Queen Victoria in December of this year," commented Carol Marlow, Cunard’s president and managing director.

She added that it was "a very exciting time" for the cruise line.

Cunard Cruises has long been established as a favourite among those who enjoy a more classic and formal cruise holiday experience.
