Wednesday, December 12th, 2007
P&O Cruises is offering cruise holiday passengers the choice of 40 different voyages for travel on Pacific Sun between now and January 2009.
The cruise ship - which is the largest ship to ever be based in Brisbane Australia - will be transporting passengers to the south Pacific and northern Queensland over the coming 12 months.
Onboard Pacific Sun, passengers can enjoy exploring the 223 metres of bow to stern deck space while there are also two open-air pools and whirlpool spas for holidaymakers to relax in.
"Our seven-night voyages from Brisbane have also proved a winner with locals, as well as interstate passengers and holidaymakers … who love Queensland’s close proximity to South Pacific destinations," commented Ann Sherry, chief executive officer Carnival Cruises.
Itineraries include sailings to the south Pacific and north Queensland, tropical islands, New Caledonia, the Whitsundays, Cairns and Port Douglas.
Children travelling onboard can enjoy the ship’s giant 35-metre waterslide.
