While a cruise holiday can be a fun experience for young adults just out of university, Princess Cruises has decided to show that a trip on board its liners can be an incredible experience for students of all ages, inviting a 95-year old recent graduate in history onboard the Crown Princess to act as a storyteller to other passengers.
Recognised by the Guinness World Record authorities for being the oldest graduate in the world when she passed her degree earlier this month, Ms Nola Ochs will travel onboard the ship and rouse passengers with her inspirational life story.
Travelling with her daughter on a unique family cruise holiday setting sail in June, Ms Ochs is one of many special guest speakers you can enjoy when on the exclusive ScolarShip@Sea programme from Princess Cruises.
Jan Swartz, senior vice president of customer services at Princess Cruises, said: "We love to bring on interesting people who will enrich our passengers’ lives."
Swartz adds that Ms Ochs life story has proven inspirational to those that have met her, with the company wanting to extend this circle to include its cruise holiday passengers.
The Associated Press quotes Ms Ochs as stating that she was well-accepted by other people on her Fort Hays State University course, feeling "just like another student" on her studies.
