Costa Cruises Announces Launch Of New Ships
Friday, May 30th, 2008
Costa Cruises has announced plans to launch its two new ships, the Costa Luminosa and the Costa Pacifica, next month.
Once the vessels have been launched at Italy’s Fincantieri ship yard, Costa will begin work on the interior of the ships - with the liners expected to enter service next year.
The addition of the Pacifica and the Luminosa will bring the number of ships in Costa’s fleet to 14, Travel Mole reports.
Onboard the Luminosa, which is expected to be finished first, passengers will be greeted by a 4D cinema, a golf simulator and a rollerblading track, along with a large outdoor green for jogging.
Costa offers "unforgettable" cruises to a range of destinations, including South America, the Caribbean, the Eastern Mediterranean and the Canary Islands. With a typical day onboard offering everything from excursions, seminars, beauty treatments, cocktails and dinner dances - to art auctions.
