Celebrity Cruises Announces Caribbean Sailings

A series of short Caribbean sailings has been announced by Celebrity Cruises.

Passengers travelling aboard Celebrity Century will be able to enjoy four and five-night sailings to the Caribbean, which would serve well as taster cruises, according to Celebrity.

Described as "perfect getaways" for those wishing to sample the "spectacular sunsets" of the Caribbean, the sailings are to take place in the winter 2009-2010 season.

Available from December 2009 until April 2010, Celebrity Century will call in at ports in the western Caribbean on a total of 29 short cruises departing from Miami.

Celebrity Century will call at a selection of ports at destinations such as Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Mexico and Florida.

While on holiday in the Caribbean, travellers can enjoy a selection of shore excursions, such as the Chukka Ultimate Adventure in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, which includes a horseback ride along the White River, a Jamaican lunch and a hike.
