Rather than churn out cruise news in a rather bland way we've decided to discontinue the news in this format and use our cruise blog to cover any newsworthy events.

Carnival Cruises has announced that it is to showcase its latest cruise liner Carnival Freedom in a special website.
The website will offer visitors the opportunity to view the 110,000-tonne fun ship and will provide a comprehensive outline of the vessel’s facilities, the cruise company promises.
Furthermore, site viewers will also be able to watch exclusive footage of the ship’s official naming in Venice earlier this month by Freedom godmother Kathy Ireland.
" Carnival Freedom is the ultimate floating resort and this new website offers consumers an exclusive look at the many exciting facilities and features of our newest fun ship," commented Bob Dickinson, Carnival Cruises president.
Additionally, the website is due to feature a blog which will be written by senior cruise director John Heald who will note his thoughts on Carnival Freedom’s maiden season.
It was recently revealed that the cruise line has "revamped" its onboard menu in an aim to combine fine dining with healthy eating.
