The Carnival Sensation has undergone a multi-million-pound makeover, with Carnival Cruises adding a host of new features to the ship.
A new water park has been installed, along with an adults-only retreat and tropical main pool.
Balconies were also added to 98 existing staterooms during a 35-day drydock which tool place earlier this year, as part of Carnival’s ‘Evolutions of Fun’ refurbishment programme.
Carnival Sensation is the fourth Carnival ship to enjoy an upgrade. Alterations have already been made to the Carnival Imagination, Carnival Fantasy and Carnival Inspiration.
Roberta Jacoby, the cruise line’s assistant vice president of hotel operations, said: "With its wide variety of on-board facilities and convenient three and four-day schedule from Port Canaveral. Carnival Sensation has been a popular choice for ‘Fun Ship’ guests."
In other news, it was announced earlier this week that the Carnival Conquest has emerged following an extensive renovation.
