Carnival Cruises has reported a record six-week booking period earlier this year.
Between February 5th and March 18th this year, individual bookings across all of Carnival Cruises‘ 22 cruise liners were up by 28 per cent compared to those in 2006 for the same period.
Additionally, over the same period, reservations made with the cruise company exceeded any other six-week period in its 35-year history, with March 1st achieving the highest number of individual reservations in a single day.
"We have ramped up our efforts to communicate the huge variety of cruise lengths, itinerary options and departure points we offer," commented Bob Dickinson, president of Carnival Cruises.
Among the features "ramped up" are amenities such as the Carnival Comfort Bed sleep system complete with luxury mattresses, duvets, linens and pillows.
Carnival has also expanded its family options with increased programmes and facilities for children and teenagers.
