Carnival reveals design plans for new dream boat
Carnival Cruises has released design details pertaining to the latest cruise liner to be designed at the Fincantieri shipyard in Monfalcone in Italy, Carnival Dream.

Following the official handover of Carnival Splendor to Carnival Cruises from the shipyard, details have been released for Carnival Dream, which will be the largest member of the fun ship flotilla once built at 130,000 tonnes.

Carnival Dream is scheduled to make her maiden voyage on September 21st 2009 and is it is noted that the ship will boast the latest in entertainment features.

The cruise liner will feature a new entertainment concept The Piazza, a children’s play area and a WaterWorks aqua park featuring a series of whirlpools.

"By offering the widest variety of all-inclusive facilities and features at sea, we will create fun, memorable vacations for our guests, all at an incredible value," commented Gerry Cahill, president of Carnival Cruises

He added that Carnival Dream was "specifically designed" with the comfort and pleasure of guests in mind.
