Bob Dickinson, CEO of the Carnival cruise line, has welcomed the naming and launch of the Carnival Freedom in Venice and has expressed his excitement about the website that accompanied it.
The 110,000 tonne ship is currently making its debut with a nine-day Mediterranean cruise, during which Freedom Cruise senior director John Heald will be offering his insight into the ship’s first season through his online diary.
In addition, a website will allow land-locked observers a comprehensive overview of the interiors of the ship, including the numerous lounges, bars and restaurants.
"With its dramatic decor and wide range of dining, activity and entertainment options and high-tech amenities, Carnival Freedom is the ultimate floating resort and thus new website offers consumers an exclusive look at the many exciting facilities and features of our newest fun ship," Mr Dickinson said.
Following the completion of its debut European season, the Carnival Freedom will make the journey to Miami, from where it will serve as a Caribbean cruise liner capable of carrying 2,974 passengers.
