Carnival Cruises Wins Nine Awards

Carnival Cruise Lines has scooped several prestigious awards at this year’s Porthole Cruise Magazine’s Reader Choice Awards.
The cruise line won nine categories, including ‘best shore excursions’, ‘best website’ and ‘best entertainment’.
Since the awards were first launched in 1999, Carnival Cruises has won more categories than any other cruise line.
Lynn Torrent, Carnival’s senior vice president of sales and guest programmes, said it was an honour to receive "consistent recognition".
"Winning so many awards – in so many different categories – is a wonderful validation of our efforts to provide guests with fun and memorable vacations at affordable prices," she added.
In related news, the cruise line’s newest vessel – Carnival Splendor – arrived in Fort Lauderdale last Friday following its European debut.
