Carnival Cruises Predicts Biggest Ever Cruise Season

Carnival Cruises predicts biggest ever cruise season
Carnival Cruises has predicted that 2009 will be its "biggest" ever European cruise season.

The cruise line anticipates that it will operate an "unprecedented" number of its Fun cruise ships in Europe during this period.

Carnival Liberty and Carnival Freedom - two of the company’s newest liners - will sail on 12-day Mediterranean cruises over the 2009 cruise season.

"A Carnival cruise is the ideal way to see Europe, offering consumers the opportunity to experience and explore a diversity of spectacular destinations and then return to the comfort, convenience and amenities of their magnificent Fun Ship," commented Vicki Freed, senior vice-president of sales and guest services at Carnival Cruises.

Carnival Cruises Fun Ships contain a number of top of the range amenities such as an internet cafe, a 270-square-foot LED screen movie theatre, a health and fitness centre and numerous restaurants.

Children will be kept amused by the Camp Carnival entertainment programme as well as four swimming pools which include a 214-foot-long water slide.
