If you take a cruise holiday on the Carnival Spirit, you may catch a live performance from a current star of hit NBC show America’s Got Talent, which features a panel of judges including Brit Simon Cowell.
Singer Jason Pritchett, a top-20 finalist in the competition, sings lead vocals during two weekly shows on the 2,124 passenger vessel from Carnival Cruises.
Together with Stephanie Bell and a host of dancers set against a mesmerising backdrop with stunning special effects, Pritchett sings in two shows - High Spirits and SRO [Standing Room Only], showcasing just some of the vast talent on board every cruise holiday from the firm.
Roger Blum, vice president of cruise programming at Carnival Cruises, said: "We strive to find truly talented vocal performers for our production shows, which are a highlight of the cruise vacation experience."
He added that Pritchett is typical of the outstanding entertainment on board its cruise liners, while the staff onboard the Carnival Spirit are cheering him on as he continues in the televised contest.
America’s Got Talent features a host of signers, dancers and other performers all competing for the top prize of $1 million, with the first series of the show kicking off in June 2006.
