Carnival Cruises Announces Mexican Voyages

Carnival Cruises has announced that Carnival Splendor is to conduct seven-day Mexican Riviera cruises from March 2009.
The vessel - which is pioneering the line’s Fun Ship concept - is to depart from California’s Long Beach on the journeys.
Carnival Cruises has expressed confidence that the itineraries will boost its presence in Southern California - which currently is home to four of the company’s ships.
"With its vast array of onboard facilities and features, including the most elaborate and magnificent spa ever introduced on a Carnival ship, Carnival Splendor will usher in an exciting new era in Fun Ship vacations and provide a fresh and exciting West Coast cruise option," said Bob Dickinson, Carnival president and chief executive officer.
Voyagers on Mexican Riviera cruise holidays with Carnival will get the chance to experience excursions including canopy tours, scuba diving and deep-sea fishing.
The firm recently launched a competition to name to spa onboard Carnival Splendor.
