Carnival Cruise Lines has announced plans to increase capacity of some of its New York departures.
From 2010, the Carnival Glory will operate a series of four and five-day cruises around Canada from July to September, followed by a number of autumn cruises.
The week-long autumn itineraries will feature ports of call including Boston, Portland, Saint John and Halifax.
Among other things, the 2,978-passenger Carnival Glory features 22 lounges and bars, an internet cafe, jogging track, health spa and four swimming pools.
What’s more, guests can also avail of the comprehensive golf programme offered onboard, with qualified instructors on hand to help guests brush up on their technique.
The Carnival Triumph will operate the cruise line’s 2009 New York departures.
Other ships currently operated by the cruise line include the Carnival Dream, Carnival Imagination and Carnival Miracle.
