Rather than churn out cruise news in a rather bland way we've decided to discontinue the news in this format and use our cruise blog to cover any newsworthy events.

Carnival Cruises has launched a new book to help guests recreate the so-called towel animals that are left in passenger’s state rooms each day.
Originally, Carnival Cruises published a towel creations book two years ago which contained instructions on how to create 40 animals out of towels.
The book sold 100,000 copies and now fans of cruise holidays will be able to try their hand at creating an additional 40 towel animals with the new edition.
"Towel animals are a signature element of a Carnival cruise and this new book provides guests an opportunity to relive their Fun Ship cruise each time they create these whimsical creatures at home," commented Vicki Freed, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Carnival Cruises.
Fans of casual cruises are no doubt accustomed to returning to their stateroom to find their steward has personalised their towel animal with guests’ sunglasses and hats to design a one-off creation.
Carnival Cruises Fun Ships could appeal to those looking for a family cruise with all ages of children catered to in three different programmes - including Club O2 for 15 to 17 year-olds.
Virgin Holidays Cruises are leader's in Caribbean cruises, Mediterranean cruises and cruise & stay holidays.
