P&O Cruises’ latest superliner will cater for passengers of all ages, it has been revealed.
Earlier this week the cruise line announced that the Azura, which is due to launch in 2010, will feature 18 single staterooms, which is a first for P&O.
Furthermore, P&O Cruises said the Azura had been designed to appeal to today’s sophisticated passengers and would provide them with an authentic experience.
P&O Cruises managing director Nigel Esdale commented: "Modern travellers have diverse needs and require more than a ‘one size fits all’ approach. Azura will cater for every kind of consumer, from newcomers to cruising to our more experienced repeat customers; from singles and couples to families and multi-generational groups, empty nesters to parties or simply friends reunited."
Among other things, the Azura will be home to an open-air cinema and luxury health spa.
In other Azura-related news, the cruise line announced this week that the ship will feature an Indian restaurant developed with the help of celebrity chef Atul Kochhar.
